Gopaldhara Autumn Dew (Autumn Flush Tea)
Gopaldhara "Autumn Dew" Darjeeling Tea (Autumn Flush)
Harvested between October and November from the highest peaks of the Gopaldhara Tea Estate (up to 7,000 ft), Autumn Dew captures the rich, matured character of the final harvest of the year. The cooler autumn temperatures and crisp Himalayan air slow down leaf growth, resulting in a naturally sweet, well-rounded cup marked by full-bodied muscatel depth without sharp astringency.

Gopaldhara "Autumn Dew" Darjeeling Black Tea (Autumn Flush)
Crafted from old heritage China bushes growing at the highest elevations of the Gopaldhara Tea Estate, Autumn Dew is a refined, full-bodied black tea harvested in early November. As Himalayan temperatures drop, the tea bushes experience slower leaf growth, concentrating natural sugars and essential oils. The result is a smooth, remarkably round cup marked by classic muscatel warmth and ripe-fruit sweetness, completely free from the sharp astringency of earlier flushes.

Sensory & Tasting Profile
Liquor: Bright orange to rich coppery-amber with brilliant clarity.
Aroma: Warm and aromatic, with hints of roasted wild honey, toasted nuts, and sweet autumnal wood.

Finish: Long-lasting, naturally sweet, and clean.
Why It Stands Out
Cold-Weather Complexity: Slower maturation locks in rich, lingering aromatic compounds that lighter spring teas do not carry.
Heritage Bush Depth: Hand-plucked exclusively from centenary China bushes, providing the signature Darjeeling character prized by connoisseurs.
Gentle & Low-Acid: The autumn curing process yields a gentler, more stomach-friendly infusion compared to high-tannin summer flushes.
Brewing Guide
Leaf Quantity: 2 to 2.5 g (approx. 1 heaping teaspoon) per 200 ml of water
Water Temperature: 85°C – 90°C (185°F – 195°F)
Steep Time: 4 to 5 minutes
Serving Advice: Best enjoyed completely unblended and pure, without milk or sugar, to appreciate the delicate interplay of muscatel and honey undertones. Accommodates a second infusion with extended steeping.
